As Seen from Bombay: An Iranian Zoroastrian Photo Album from the 1930s

Abstract This photo essay provides a visual archive of Parsi philanthropic efforts toward the Iranian Zoroastrian communities Yazd, Kerman, and Tehran during 1930s. The reproduces collection photographs from album produced by Anjoman (est. 1918) for benefit audiences in Bombay. These were taken compiled administrators Parsi-funded charities order to demonstrate Bombay-based benefactors how their charity being used inside Iran. also discusses importance including archival material as part social cultural history modern Iran, well unique sets challenges that such preservation represents.
